Feather, book and lead

Feather, book and lead (MO.55) is a 2010 monotype on paper, 24,7 × 25 cm, printed from a lead plate. Abstract work with objets trouvés. On the left a feather in grey, on the right text written into the ink. Nothing is scratched into the plate; the text lives only in the ink. For each new impression the feather is inked and placed again, and new text is written into the right-hand side. Each impression is unique.

The plate was pulled in 5 impressions in sienna-red-grey and ochre-grey. Each sheet is inked by hand; no two impressions are the same object.
