Quinces, text (DC.59) is a 2004 drypoint carborundum print on paper, 21,5 × 24,7 cm, printed from a zinc plate. Still life of five quinces, printed in one pass with the background. The background is filled with text — the same in every impression, because it is scratched into the plate (drypoint), not drawn into the modelling paste or the ink.

The plate was pulled in 3 impressions in green-black. Each sheet is inked by hand; no two impressions are the same object.
