Quince, solo (DC.64) is a 2003 drypoint carborundum print on paper, 19,6 × 24,8 cm, printed from a zinc plate. Still lifes of a single quince, a large one with irregular forms. Carborundum gives grit and texture to the plate; the warm drypoint line gives balance. This plate is printed on the back of another plate, which accents the characteristic structure.

The plate was pulled in 5 impressions in black and green-black. Each sheet is inked by hand; no two impressions are the same object.
