Pear, solo (DC.68) is a 2016 drypoint carborundum print on paper, 24,8 × 19,5 cm, printed from a zinc plate. This single pear is part of the Rembrandt studies. The point was to find out how to put roundness and shadow in.
The plate was pulled in 3 impressions in ochre and umber-ochre. Each sheet is inked by hand; no two impressions are the same object.
